Hello? Hey! It’s me…
I’ve decided to start a blog. Everyone else blogs, why not me, right? Chris said, “Why do you want a blog??!!” I don’t know, I told him. Because I want to be cool, I guess. My blog will most likely be about my life as a side kick to my two kids, Delaney, age 2 years, 10 months (8 hours, 24 minutes), and Colin, age 1 year, 3 months, 3 weeks and 3 days (23 hours, 20 minutes).
Today the family went to Hill Ridge Farms to “pick” pumpkins. We had a BLAST! First, we fed the HUGE catfish in the 1/2 dried pond; next we fed the goats and other animals; then we took many many turns down the “underground” slide - mom, dad and both kids took several trips and thought it was super-duper fun!; next we check out some of the other attractions and took the hayride to the pumpkin “patch” (which is just a large field with pumpkins in it); and last, but certainly not least, we rode the train! That is always the highlight of the trip. We learned last year that Sunday morning at opening time is the time to go. We were probably the 10th car in the parking lot, and things didn’t start filling up until around 10:30 or 11, only about an hour before we left. We didn’t have to wait in any lines and even had the hay ride all to ourselves!
Here are the kiddos on the hayride

And just to be fair, here’s Delaney!
