Naughty Chicken!!
A few days ago the kids were playing outside while I was in the kitchen. The door was cracked, and I’d check on them every few minutes. The kids started going NUTS! I heard Delaney start yelling, “LOLA, GET DOWN HERE” etc. etc. I went out to find this:
Yes, she is standing in the gutter! She flew up onto the roof!
She quickly and easily flew right back down, the little bugger! Needless to say, Chris caught all the chickens and clipped their wings the next day.

Good heavens, what the neighbors must think?! How will your kids relate their childhood? One minute they’re all-American suburban kids and the next, they’re hollering at a chicken on your roof. Sounds about perfect to me!
