We might be better…
Colin seems to be better, although he threw up again this morning after not throwing up for 2 days! He is eating crackers and breastmilk today - that’s all! Yesterday he ate crap, so I think it didn’t sit well on his not-quite-100% stomach.
On Saturday we celebrated Yule and opened all our presents. The kids each got a set from ImagiPlay - Colin got A Day in the Kingdom and Delaney got Zoom to the Moon. They also each got two placemats from Crocodile Creek. In their stockings, they each got a few more playsilks from Sunshine Silks - this time I got them some 44×44 and 22×22 playsilks. They also each got a magnetic book which I think will be nice for car rides, and new aprons and other miscellaneous things in their stockings.
And for me?? Well, Chris got me a GPS! Woo hoo! He got me a few other things too, but I am so in love with this GPS! No more calls to him in the middle of the day asking him where I am and how to get where I’m going.
Yesterday took a spur-of-the-moment day trip to visit Chris’ mom, who lives about 2.5-3 hours away. It went quite well! We left in the mid-morning, so the kids had very short naps in the car. We got there and opened presents, played, then went out to dinner and left around 7ish to come home. The kids slept most of the way. Delaney did wake up twice, and once we stopped for a potty break and a nursing break, but otherwise it went quite well. Oh, and Grandma gave the kids about 6 or 8 new Geotracs sets for their trains. They now have an abundance of accessories for their train!
We were terrible at taking photos, but I’ll see if I can dig something up.
Oh, and give you all the rest of the story on the hole in the wall…I’m getting there!
