Happy New Year!!!!!

What are your resolutions?

Editing to add my resolutions…

Every year is the same…exercise more, eat better, get organized…yadda yadda yadda.  I do pretty well for the first half of the year, but then do the usual fall off the wagon when the cold weather comes along again.

This year, I’m going to set attainable goals!  Here are some:

~Take more photos of the kids!  It sounds like a silly thing, but I can’t ever seem to find the camera (or have it with me) at the perfect time.  So my goal is to carry the camera with me so I have it at the playground, at the pool, at the mall, at home…everywhere.  Did you know that there is a month…yes, a WHOLE MONTH of Colin’s life that we didn’t take one photo of him??  Pathetic…

~Eat less beef, or cut it out all together.  It’s something we’ve been talking about a lot, but we are really going to do it!

~Integrate my new job into my life with flawless ease…yeah right!

~Home improvements.  Chris and I have made a long list of all the things that need to be done in each room.  This winter and early spring we will be working on ticking items off that list.

~Keep looking for houses.  Maybe we’ll put the house in the market this year…who knows…

~Stick to our budget.  Again, something I’ve been working on for the past few months, but will continue into the new year.

I’m sure there are other things I strive to do better that I can think about over the next month or so.  I like to think about all the things I’m going to do better throughout the next year, even thought I might not actually achieve all of them.  It gives me a hint of optimism…  Just think, by the end of 2008, Colin will be sleeping through the night some (if he follows his sister’s course)…I might be a sleeper by next Yule!  I’m not holding my breath, though…I don’t want to be disappointed!

Those are the most realistic resolutions I have heard of in a while!

I refuse to do them, I only break them anyway. Lol.
