Weekly Winners #2

The faces of concentration lost in a sea of Mega Bloks.  Unfortunately the Mega Bloks have been put away for a while because Ms. Delaney boycotted putting them away.  We’re hard core parents.

This might not be the best photo in the world, but the premise of the photo is what qualified it as a Weekly Winner.  Because Colin is a pretty laid back child and Delaney is a high-maintenance child, he really suffers at the whim of his overpowering sibling.  In this photo, Colin is saying, “Take THAT!  Who’s on top, now, sistah!”  (PS: this might also be an example of why bloggers make bad mothers.)

On Saturday we visited with some of our dear friends.  Delaney hadn’t seen Lucian in quite a while, but that didn’t stop this little love muffin!  Lucian is a few months younger than Delaney.

A rare moment of calm for the beast - I took this while the kids were lost in the sea of Mega Bloks.  Poor Zoey - the only attention she gets is the kind she doesn’t like.  And even when she’s not getting that kind of attention, she has to pose for photos!

After the holidays we found these neat LED key-chain lights at Target - they were 3 for $2.50.  These little things are the best post-holiday toy we bought!  The kids have really enjoyed playing with them at length.  I set the aperture to stay open a little longer on the camera, which is why you see that streaking.  Colin had green and Delaney had blue; they have a little push button turn on, so you can see where Colin pushed his on and off a couple of times during this photo.  I just think this one looks really neat!
