EcoMom Alliance
I just discovered (and joined) the EcoMom Alliance. This is really neat! I’m going to hang around this EcoMom Alliance site a bit. I’m hijacking the goals directly from the EcoMom Alliance site and putting them here so you can check it out:
- To leverage the power of mothers to help reduce global warming;
- To inspire and empower mothers to take First Steps For A Sustainable Future by Sustaining their Homes, Sustaining their Planet and Sustaining Themselves.
This is going to be a lot of fun! They have a “10 First Steps” program to help you kick things off. We do over half of these things already, but I’m going to investigate doing the rest.

Pretty cool. I’m already doing a lot of that stuff already — I’m the one who pays the electric bill, therefore I’m the one who goes about turning off lights and TVs in empty rooms. I always wash in cold, and I would sooner have a penis than an SUV.
