Florida, day 6 (Seaworld)

Today we went to SeaWorld.  We had a blast!  We left around 8:30 this morning and pulled into the parking lot about 9:20.  We got excellent parking because we were so early!

We first checked out a pirate show with Sea Lions, an otter and a walrus.  It was a great way to start the day!  Then we hit a few other exhibits, including the manatees, penguins and alligators.

I packed our lunch, but it didn’t turn out too well.  I packed some cold macaroni and cheese, but unfortunately it was still frozen.  We did eat a little, plus some fruit I packed.  It did work out pretty well - we were able to save a ton of money on fried, full-fat food.  We did indulge in a few yummy snacks, including Shamu ice cream bars.

We were also able to catch a Shamu show, which was really exciting!  The show didn’t start until 1:30, so we were pushing it.  The kids were winding down and both were pretty tired by that point.  But they did great during the show.  Colin really enjoyed watching it - he was absolutely mesmerized (or maybe that was the glaze of an over-tired babe)!

Colin fell asleep on Chris’ back just after the show ended as we were walking back to the front of the park.  He was exhausted!

Unfortunately we didn’t take many photos at all.  It was hard enough keeping up with two kids, plus our gear an dour stroller.  Delaney was clingy and whiny throughout the morning, so she spent much of the time riding on Chris’ or my back and Colin rode.  But Colin wanted to walk, er….RUN, everywhere!   He’s definitely a runner!

I have loved reading/seeing pictures from your trip. It looks like you had an amazing time! I spent two years of high school living in Satellite Beach (just down from Cocoa Beach). Are you guys home yet? The recoup after travel is always hectic!
