Strawberry Picking
Today we went strawberry picking! It’s hard work, you know…
But it is quite a rewarding experience
We found lots of berries, big and small
And we sure did have fun! We were red and messy when we got home, but we didn’t mind!

Sure do miss that. Strawberries round here won’t be ready for another month and they aren’t near as big.

I used to do that as a child, growing up in Southern California. Wish my children could have that experience. Guess we’ll just have to try to squeeze it in next year if we manage to make the trek out to visit my parents. I love how Colin is wearing a white shirt (white!) and you can see the juice so clearly. They look a mess, but a cute mess! Laney looks so proud of her bucket, which is suspiciously, conspicuously empty!

oh yum!! so fun and so tasty. i’m vowing not to miss strawberry picking this year (like i did last year).
