Brand New Studs! (i.e. I got my ears shot)
Last night Delaney got her ears pierced! Chris and I made the decision on a whim. I said, “I want to get Delaney’s ears pierced” meaning “one day.” He said, “OK.” I said, “NOW?” He said, “Sure.” So we did!
She did perfectly! We did it at Claires, and the two salespeople were very wonderful. They pierced them both at the same time, which was probably a good idea. She was stunned, but she didn’t cry! I thought she was going to, and I think she thought she was going to, too, but she didn’t! Then when she saw them in her ears, she had this huge grin. Later, as we were walking through the mall, she said, “I’m happy! I got my ears shot!” Every time we went into a store, she told the sales person, “I just got my ears shot” - it was hilarious!

They look great!! We got Hannah’s done for her 5th birthday, and she reacted the same as Delaney… no crying but definitely shocked

Wow! I can’t believe how grown up she looks! What a big girl. I give you credit Tara, I don’t think I could have done that! If I had a daughter I would make her wait until she was 30!

I remember Jackie’s first piercings like it was yesterday, then her second, third, fourth…..
